You know what they sayânature heals. And honestly, theyâre not wrong.
After a rough week (okay, month), I dragged myself out for a short hike. Nothing fancy. Just a 2-hour loop near home. By the time I came back, something inside me had shifted. I wasnât âcured,â but I was calmer. Lighter. More grounded.
Hiking does that. The rhythm of your steps, the fresh air, the quietâit helps your brain breathe. You process things differently when youâre out there. Problems feel smaller. Wins feel bigger. And your soul feels seen.
Plus, there's science behind it. Studies show hiking lowers stress, boosts mood, and improves memory. So if youâve been stuck in your head lately, try getting out of itâand into nature.
Therapy is amazing. So is hiking. If you can do both? Even better.
